More than $3,200 had been raised for Beldry Brito as of Wednesday afternoon on a GoFundMe launched by her colleague, Heather Barresse.
Barresse described Brito as an "amazingly strong" mom to her two-year-old son.
" She has already started treatments and is somehow still pushing through work to ensure her son is well taken care of," the page says.
